LODI, Calif. — A person was found dead Monday morning outside of Lodi, according to the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office.
Officials said deputies received reports around 9:30 a.m. of a deceased individual in the area of Glasscock Road near Sycamore Slough. The report came in after the body was discovered by workers in the area.
Detectives took over the investigation after the body's discovery.
No further details were released by the sheriff's office, as the investigation remains active.
