Folsom Police have arrested two men in connection to a string of thefts where $5,000 worth of Plan B pills and beauty supplies were taken.
Vernon Posey, 24, and Travon Adkins, 25, were arrested after officers worked with an alert Walgreens loss prevention employee Monday night.
According to police, the men allegedly opened security cases and took medication and beauty products from Walgreens in Folsom before hitting two other stores.
When officers arrived they found the stolen items inside the suspect's car.
Several others stores have reported similar thefts, but it unclear if they are connected at this time.
While it is unclear what the men planned to do with the stolen items, police say multiple boxes of the same item are often resold by theft groups.
Both men were booked into the Sacramento County Jail on charges of theft, possession of stolen property and conspiracy.
