MATHER, Calif. — No injuries were reported after a plane landed at Mather Field due to a reported inflight emergency.
According to Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District, the incident was reported around 9:20 p.m. Fire officials said there was a report of smoke in the cockpit with an odor.
The plane ultimately made a safe landing and no injuries were reported.
The plane checked clear and will be moved to a hanger for engineers to work on it.
