SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A body was recovered Sunday afternoon from the Sacramento River.
Around 1 p.m., crews responded to the Pocket neighborhood for a reported dead body. It was called in from bystanders on a boat, according to Sacramento Fire Department spokesman Capt. Justin Sylvia.
Crews moved the body to the Garcia Bend Park boat launch, authorities said. The circumstances surrounding the incident aren't clear at this time and no other details have been released.
