DALLAS — If you're traveling this holiday season and find yourself at Dallas Forth Worth International Airport (DFW), then you might want to check out the No. 1-ranked airport bar in the country.
Yes, you read that correctly.
According to a ranking by BetUS, TGI Fridays at DFW Airport has claimed the No. 1 spot among airport bars in the United States.
BetUS said it took multiple factors into account such as Google rating, price of a 14-20 ounce draft beer, price of a cheeseburger, price of french fries, menu size and location within the airport.
According to BetUS, here's how the airport restaurant stacks up in each of these categories:
- Google Rating: 3.9
- Price of a 14-20 ounce draft beer: $5
- Price of a cheeseburger: $12.98
- Price of french fries: $2.86
By taking each of these categories into account, BetUS gave TGI Fridays a total score of 79.4, which bested the second-place Billy Goat Tavern at Chicago O'Hare Airport by more than 13 points.
"An attributing factor to this ranking has to be the affordability TGI Fridays provides," BetUS said in its rankings. "TGI Fridays within the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport provides not only Texas travelers the best and most affordable airport bar option, but the best option for travelers across the United States."
