PLACER COUNTY, Calif. — A house fire killed three animals Saturday in Placer County.
On Saturday night, Cal Fire and the Placer County Fire Department responded to a fire off Garden Bar Road, according to a Facebook post by Cal Fire’s Nevada, Yuba and Placer County Unit.
“The home was well involved upon arrival of firefighters,” Cal Fire wrote in the post.
All residents evacuated and firefighters knocked down the flames, but three animals were killed in the fire, according to first responders.
Lincoln Fire Department and Wheatland Fire Department assisted the firefight.
