SACRAMENTO, California — One man is dead and another is in critical condition after a crash in the Hagginwood area of Sacramento.
The Sacramento Police Department was called to the area of Los Robles and Marysville boulevards for a car that crashed into a pole around 8:15 p.m.
Arriving officers found the two men inside the car, the passenger was pronounced dead and the driver was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The circumstances surrounding the crash and what led up to it have not been released at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
Marysville Boulevard from Los Robles Boulevard to Rosalind Street was temporarily closed due to the accident but reopened around 5:15 a.m. Thursday.
