SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento State is hosting its 2024 Commencement ceremonies Friday, Saturday and Sunday for graduating college students at Golden 1 Center.
Graduates can bring up to eight guests who are directed to enter through Golden 1 Center's Grand Entrance along 5th Street in front of DOCO.
Here's what else you need to know about this year's Sacramento State Commencement:
Ceremonies Schedule
Friday:
- College of Business | Guest Doors Open: 7 a.m. | Ceremony: 8-10:30 a.m.
- College of Arts & Letters | Guest Doors Open: 12:30 p.m. | Ceremony: 1:30-4 p.m.
- College of Education | Guest Doors Open: 6 p.m. | Ceremony: 7-9:30 p.m.
Saturday:
- College of Health & Human Services (Communication Sciences & Disorders, Criminal Justice, Nursing, Public Health, RPTA, Social Work) | Guest Doors Open: 7 a.m. | Ceremony: 8-10:30 a.m.
- College of Health & Human Services (Health Science, Kinesiology) + Social Sciences & Interdisciplinary Studies (Asian Studies, Anthropology, Ethnic Studies, Gerontology, Sociology, Women's & Gender Studies) | Guest Doors Open: 12:30 p.m. | Ceremony: 1:30-4 p.m.
- College of Social Sciences & Interdisciplinary Studies (Economics, Environmental Studies, FACS, Liberal Studies, Political Science, Psychology, Public Policy & Administration, Social Science) | Guest Doors Open: 6 p.m. | Ceremony: 7-9:30 p.m.
Sunday:

Guest Policies
Golden 1 Center accepts digital tickets, but paper tickets are highly recommended for speedy entry into the venue.
If you lose your ticket, contact your graduating loved one and they can electronically forward or resend tickets through the ticketing system. Children under the age of 3 who can sit on a guardian's lap don't need a ticket.
For safety and security, Golden 1 Center published a list of items banned from the arena. It includes balloons, bags and outside food.
Golden 1 Center recommends purchasing parking passes online via the SacPark website.
