EL DORADO COUNTY, Calif. — Even with the Sierra blizzard calming down into the evening hours, it's still causing impacts to communities.
At least three school districts have announced closures due to impacts from the storms over the weekend and the ones ahead. Meanwhile, Black Oak Mine Unified School District in El Dorado County announced it will operate on a two-hour delayed start.
Here are the schools calling Monday a snow day.
Schools Closed
The following school districts are closed March 4, 2024.
- Tahoe Truckee Unified School District
- Lake Tahoe Unified School District
- Pollock Pines Elementary School District
Delayed Start
The following school districts are on delayed start March 4, 2024
- Black Oak Mine Unified School District: All sites will operate on a 2-hour delayed start
