DIXON, Calif. — Two people were found dead Tuesday in an RV fire at the Dixon Fairgrounds, according to California Highway Patrol officials.
Firefighters responded to the fire early in the morning, quickly working to put out a fully engulfed RV, CHP spokesperson Dave Harvey said. After extinguishing the fire, crews found two bodies inside the burned vehicle.
Two other people were taken to the hospital with burn injuries. Harvey says all four people involved were adult males.
The identities of the victims have not been released. Fire investigators are looking into what caused the fire. CHP is investigating because the fairgrounds are California State Property.
