Andie Judson is an award-winning Investigative Reporter at ABC10 in Sacramento, California, specializing in deep dive reporting and special projects for the ABC10 Originals Team.
Andie's investigative reporting has been credited for passing multiple laws, forcing reform within state agencies, initiating state and federal audits/investigations and holding the powerful accountable.
Her reporting has been recognized with a number of national prestigious awards including a Peabody nomination, Investigative Reporter and Editors (IRE) Award, Gracie Award as well as multiple regional Emmy, Murrow and SPJ Awards. She has also been named as a "First Amendment Champion" for multiple consecutive years by Northern California's Society of Professional Journalists with the James Madison Freedom of Information Award.
Andie’s career began in Atlanta and Los Angeles interning and researching for CNN and NBC News. A desire to experience local journalism brought her to WCNC in Charlotte, North Carolina. After time in the Carolinas, Andie moved to Washington, D.C. to report and produce deep-diving stories for the 60+ stations under TEGNA, ABC10's parent company. She joined ABC10 in February 2020.
As a seventh-generation Californian, Andie loves covering issues that impact people throughout our beautiful state. Raised in San Luis Obispo, she regards Sacramento region as her "second home" as her grandparents lived in Davis and extended family live in west Sacramento.
