SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Devin Trubey is an anchor and reporter with ABC10 in Sacramento. Born and raised in the Bay Area she is ecstatic to be back home in the Golden State.
Born in San Leandro, she found her love for journalism by writing for her junior high and high school newspapers in Fremont.
Devin began her professional career covering Washington and Idaho as KLEW’s Palouse Bureau Chief.
Next, she moved to Springfield, Illinois working as an Anchor/Reporter for WICS NewsChannel 20.
Throughout her career, Devin has covered severe weather from extreme flooding and wildfires in the Pacific Northwest to tornadoes, snowstorms and the Derecho wind storms in the Midwest.
She attended Washington State University to earn her degree in Broadcast Journalism and a second degree in Sport Management. While in college, she studied internationally in London, Paris and Rome. As a junior she won her university’s prestigious President’s Award for outstanding service to the school and community.
