SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The 8th Annual Art of Beer Invitational in Sacramento is offering beer fans a first taste of brews that are not available to the public with unlimited four-ounce pours from over 30 breweries.
Attendees would have the opportunity to talk to their favorite craft brewers and ask them questions about how their favorite beers are made.
The Art of Beer co-owner Lindsey Nelson said the event's focus has always centered around the Sacramento community. They are hoping to raise $7,500 to fulfill a child's wish for the local Make-a-Wish Foundation with an art auction of six Sacramento artists.
The artists are exhibiting five or six pieces of their work at the Art of Beer Invitational. Portions of their proceedings will go to the charity.
River City Marketplace vendors are also selling beer-themed items that will also be donation portions to Make-a-Wish.
