SACRAMENTO, Calif. — With the holidays right around the corner, Old Sacramento might be the place to be.
The Old Sacramento Waterfront is set to transform into a holiday village with decorations, a 60-foot tree, light shows, themed bar crawls, and more in the coming weeks.
The entire district is getting ready to embrace the holiday spirit with the Theatre of Lights, tree lighting ceremony, pop-up market, live music and more. The Theatre of Lights will be showcasing performances of "The Night Before Christmas" along with stories of Sacramento pioneers in the 1850s.
Some of the highlights will include a themed bar crawl, including bars such as Bear & Crown, Honey & the Trapcat, Last Stop Saloon and Delta King.
Also queued up is the holiday market. The market will pack Front Street with artisan goods and art after Thanksgiving.
