LOS ANGELES — One of the big highlights of the 2024 Oscars was Ryan Gosling's performance of "I'm Just Ken."
Notably, the song was nominated for Best Original Song, but it lost to Billie Eilish's "What Was I Made For," which was also from Barbie.
Eilish's win would prove to be the only win of the night for Barbie. It was nominated eight times across seven categories, including Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress. Sacramento director Greta Gerwig was notably snubbed of a Best Director nod.
However, Gosling provided possibly the biggest highlight of the night. His performance was the one many people were talking about after the show.
