National Pizza Day was Sunday, Feb. 9 but we like to celebrate the delicious pie all year round.
So, we asked you on ABC10's Facebook page: Where's the best pizza in town.
First of all, you all really like your pizza, but these are the top five that showed up the most in the comments.
Gold Dust Pizza
Gold Dust Pizza is located in Sutter Creek and Copperopolis and offers more than just delicious, thick crusted pizza pies. It has history. At the Sutter Creek location, there's The Vault — the original historic Wells Fargo vault for gold. Unfortunately, the only gold this space has now is the golden cheese on top of its pizzas. But at least it's available to book for events.
With deals like the Eureka of a Deal (any two topping pizza, breadsticks and two-liter soda to go), it's the pizza to have at any birthday party or just to have for a family dinner during the week.
Cool River Pizza
This place received a lot of love on our Facebook page, but also a lot of confusion. Some people were saying that it closed down while others said it's still open.
Unfortunately for all of you Cool River Pizza lovers, the Roseville location did close down. But, it is switching over to Campelli's Pizza. Campelli's is currently located on Foothills Boulevard in Roseville and will be opening its new location on Cirby Way in the next few weeks. The good news? Cool River Pizza is still open in Rocklin on Stanford Ranch Road.
Roma's House
Well if Jack's been eating there for over 30 years, then it must be good!
With over 40 years of serving the Sacramento community on Franklin Boulevard and a new location in Carmichael, Roma's House is a staple in the Sacramento Valley.
Each pizza is covered with plenty of toppings and is freshly made for the best flavors. Not feeling pizza? The menu also has homemade raviolis, pastas, soups, lasagnas and more. Just typing this is making me hungry! This is the place to go for any type of Italian craving.

The Original Pietro's
With two locations in Vacaville, Pietro's No.1 and Pietro's No.2, it's clearly winning at the pizza game. A more upscale version of your typical pizza joint, The Original Pietro's offers more than just pizza and soda. Want to take the family out? Come by on Tuesdays or Wednesdays for the Family Special — spaghetti with meat sauce, medium pizza with four toppings, family salad with choice of two dressings, and garlic bread.
Plus, Pietro's has plenty of space for birthday parties and events with Pietro's Chef's Table. This place is worth a stop on your way to the bay area or back into Sacramento.
Old Town Pizza
Old Town Pizza, also known as OTP, has three locations — Old Town Auburn, Old Town Lincoln, and its newest, Historic Roseville. OTP has been serving up slices for over 20 years and delivers a wide selection of options on its menu. Instead of ordering a regular pizza, why not try a pizza burrito? Or maybe some meatball sliders? OTP has it all.
