FOLSOM, Calif. — Black Friday is rapidly approaching. Folsom’s three major shopping centers, the Premium Outlets, Palladio at Broadstone and the Historic District are gearing up for droves of people after the Thanksgiving holiday.
Here are the hours, sales and other information if you plan to visit these areas.
FOLSOM PREMIUM OUTLETS
The outlets will open at 6 a.m. Black Friday.
Beth Hamilton, a spokesperson for Simon Property Group, the outlets’ parent real estate company, said shoppers can view the holiday shopping guide for the most up-to-date discounts and sales.
Hamilton said shoppers can also download the “Simon Mobile” app for parking, retailer deals and mall event information.
Sacramento Regional Transit will offer free rides to the outlets Black Friday.
PALLADIO
The Palladio at Broadstone will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. come Black Friday.
Customers can park in the garage on the corner of Palladio Parkway and Iron Point Road, or the garage parallel to East Bidwell Street between Iron Point Road and Broadstone Parkway. Parking is also accessible within the shopping center.
A complete map and store directory can be found here.
FOLSOM HISTORIC DISTRICT
Stores are individually owned and operated in Historic Folsom, according to the district executive director Judy Collinsworth. She says most will be open by 10 a.m. both Friday and Saturday and closed by 5 or 8 p.m.
“Small Business Saturday is our biggest shopping day of the year,” said Collinsworth. “Our loyal customers come out to support their favorite retailers.”
Though it is difficult to determine an accurate count, thousands of people shop the district the day after Black Friday, she said.
Free parking is available all over the district should the garage at 905 Leidesdorff St. fill up, according to Collinsworth. The garage offers a free shuttle service Friday and Saturday nights from 4:30-10:30 p.m. The best way to access it is through the free Historic Folsom shuttle app.
Customers can also ride SacRT’s light rail into Historic Folsom station.
