A group of 10 co-workers in Sacramento are being called "The Lucky Ten" after they won $3.2 million from the California Lottery.

Debra Allen, Encie Lee, Telia Ford, Diana Origel, Brian Rose, Nicole McCarthy, Sara Gordon, Danielle Allen, Juan Arellano and Jeffrey Montrose matched five of the six Mega Millions numbers last month.

Allen purchased the ticket for the group. She knew it was a winner but wasn't wearing her glasses when initially checking. She thought the group had won $3,000 and called her daughter excited.

"I think we won $3,000!" Allen said. It wasn't until she stopped at another gas station to double check the ticket, while wearing her glasses, that she realized how much the group had actually won. $3,238,814 to be exact.

The ticket was bought from the Bradshaw Shell on Bradshaw Road. The store will receive a bonus of $16,000 for selling the ticket.
