2-year-old accidentally stabs 11-year-old sibling, Sacramento County Sheriff's Office says

Officials say the stabbing was accidental and happened in the 4800 block of Yosemite Avenue in South Sacramento around 5:40 p.m. Friday.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — An 11-year-old was taken to the hospital after accidentally being stabbed by their 2-year-old sibling Saturday evening, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office. 

Officials say the stabbing happened in the 4800 block of Yosemite Avenue in south Sacramento and deputies were called to the area around 5:40 p.m.

At this time, sheriff's officials the 11-year-old with be OK. No other information is available.
