STOCKTON, Calif. — Two people were arrested in connection to a fatal Stockton shooting in May, according to the Stockton Police Department.
The shooting happened May 12 around 9:40 p.m. along the 2000 block of Dijon Street. Officers found a man in his 30s with a gunshot wound and took him to the hospital in critical condition. Days later, he died from his injuries.
Police say they arrested Stockton residents Sophia Ortega, 27, and Marcelo Ortega, 18, May 30 in connection to the case.
They were both booked into the San Joaquin County Jail on suspicion of homicide. No other information is available.
