SACRAMENTO, Calif. — 2 adults are dead and a minor is wounded following a shooting in Sacramento's Natomas neighborhood on Sunday night.
According to the Sacramento Police Department, the shooting took place outside of an apartment near the 2000 block of West El Camino Avenue around 11:30 p.m. Three people, two adult men and a girl, were found suffering from "apparent gunshot wounds."
Despite receiving medical aid from officers, the two men were declared dead at the scene. The girl was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition. Police have yet to confirm her exact age.
"We do know that two people are deceased and right now our hearts are with the family of the decedents," said Sacramento Police Department PIO Anthony Gamble. "Also, our thoughts and prayers are with the victim that is at the hospital."
The Sacramento Police Department also stated that a party took place before the shooting. There is no suspect information available to the public at this time.
