2 found guilty in home invasion murders of Sacramento man, baby son

SACRAMENTO - Two men charged with murdering a Sacramento man and his infant son in 2007 were found guilty by a jury Tuesday morning.

Donald Ortez-Lucero and Christopher Strong were convicted of two counts of first-degree murder with special circumstances, one count of burglary and attempted robbery in the death of 21-year-old Sean Aquitania and his 7-month-old son Sean Jr. during a home invasion on Sept. 14, 2007.

Three men were originally suspected in the killing, but the Sacramento County district attorney later dropped charges against Richard Noguera.

Ortez-Lucero and Strong face life in prison without the chance for parole when they are sentenced May 9 in Sacramento Superior Court.
