SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Two people are dead after a shooting in Sacramento Tuesday evening.
According to the Sacramento Police Department, the shooting was reported along the 3800 block of Northgate Boulevard around 6 p.m.
Arriving officers found a man and a woman, each shot at least once. They were pronounced dead on scene.
Sacramento police spokesperson Allison Smith said the shooting appears to have happened in the parking lot of a Taco Bell. Police found several casings in the parking lot.
No suspect information is available at this time.
Police are calling on people to avoid the area as they investigate.
