CERES, Calif. — A woman had her hands tied with tape during a robbery in Ceres Tuesday morning.
The Ceres Police Department says officers responded to a reported armed robbery at Stanislaus Towing Services around 8:45 a.m.
According to police, two men went inside the business — one had a gun — and demanded money.
The men forced a female employee to open a safe and tied her hands with tape afterward. The two men took off after learning there was nothing inside the safe.
Neither the woman or her 3-year-old child were hurt during the robbery.
