STOCKTON, Calif. — Three people, including a 5-year-old, were taken to the hospital after a downtown Stockton shooting Saturday night, according to police.
The Stockton Police Department says they were called to the 700 block of N California St. around 7:48 p.m. on reports of a person shot. Once on scene, officers found three victims: a 24-year-old man, a 30-year-old man and a 5-year-old boy.
They were all taken to the hospital in various conditions. Police say the child and one of the adults have non-life threatening injuries. The second adult's condition is unknown.
Police have not released any suspect description or motive to the shooting. An investigation is underway.
