4 armed robberies reported in Stockton

Stockton police were called to four different robberies Tuesday evening.

STOCKTON, Calif. — Police are investigating four separate armed robberies that happened in the afternoon and evening hours in Stockton Tuesday. 

The first robbery was reported just before 4 p.m. along the 1700 block of Fresno Avenue, near Charter Way. Stockton police said a 24-year-old woman was working in the area when a person brandished a firearm and robbed her. The suspect ran away and was described a Black man in his late teens or early 20s. 

Minutes later, another robbery was reported in the area of East Hazelton and South Hunter Street. A 62-year-old woman was robbed after a suspect brandished a gun. This suspect also ran away and was described as a Black man.

Around 8:30 p.m., the third robbery was reported along the 10500 block of Trinity Parkway, not far from Scott Creek Drive. A 59-year-old woman was robbed after she was approached by a person who brandished a gun. The suspect was described as an Asian or Hispanic man.

The final robbery of the night was reported along the 700 block of West Eighth Street near Interstate 5. 22-year-old man was working in the area when the suspect "entered" and robbed him. The suspect, only described as a Black man, ran away.

No additional details on the robberies were released. A spokesperson for the police department said they can't confirm whether or not the robberies were connected.
