LOS ANGELES COUNTY, Calif. — Four people are dead Saturday following what police in Los Angeles characterized as a murder-suicide.
Officers responded shortly before 7 p.m. to a report of a shooting in the 11600 block of Lerdo Avenue, the Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement posted on social media.
Police say they found a woman in her 80's, a woman in her late 40's and a man in his late 40's shot to death. They also found a man in his late 80's, who they believe to be the suspect, with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
No other details were immediately released about a possible motive for the shooting.
