SOMERSET, Calif. — An elementary school principal in Somerset was arrested Tuesday morning on suspicion of cybercrimes involving a minor.
The El Dorado County District Attorney's Office said Boyd Holler, a principal at Pioneer Union School, was arrested on four counts of sending harmful content to a minor. The 37-year-old from Pollock Pines was also arrested on one count of contacting or communicating with a minor to engage in lewd behavior.
Holler was booked into El Dorado County Jail. The district attorney's office said it is in the process of filing charges. The principal was arrested during a joint cybercrime investigation with the FBI and the district attorney's office.
The district attorney's office could not elaborate on the nature of the allegations with an ongoing investigation.

'We're supposed to feel safe'
Some parents in El Dorado County are shaken up after hearing that the principal was arrested.
“These are our kids. We’re supposed to feel safe sending them to get an education, and it doesn’t feel like they are,” said Brittany Leone, whose son goes to Pioneer Elementary School.
She decided to take her son out of school for the day after hearing the news.
“It’s not OK. My son is five years old and he’s a kid. All my friends' daughters go here, and it’s like... are they going to investigate all the kids that have been alone in the office,” she said.
Leone heard about the news after getting texts from friends and seeing posts on social media.
She’s said she’s upset the district didn’t tell parents about the allegations Tuesday morning.
“I want to know what they’re doing to make sure that there aren’t other predators on campus,” she said.
Leone said parents saw a law enforcement presence at the school Tuesday morning. The district attorney's office confirmed for ABC10 they were executing a search warrant at the school.
An email from Pioneer Union School District Superintendent Patrick Paturel said the district was notified on Oct. 17 after the press release was publicly released.
"Upon learning of the arrest, we immediately placed the employee on leave. We continue to partner with the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office to review our interagency communication, and I want to stress that we are grateful for a collaborative working relationship," Patruel said in the email.
He said that parents with questions can call a dedicated phone line at 530-291-7815.
