SAN ANDREAS, Calif. — Two people were arrested after Calaveras County sheriff's deputies performed a "compliance check" in San Andreas Thursday, according to a press release.
The Calaveras County Sheriff's Office said they arrested 28-year-old Joseph Chandler and 29-year-old Brittany Morris after allegedly finding a .40 caliber rifle, illegal fireworks, evidence of an "illegal cultivation operation," over 500 grams of processed marijuana and roughly 144 grams of methamphetamine.
Deputies were in the 400 block of Gold Court Thursday to check on Chandler's probation through the compliance check.
Both Chandler and Morris were arrested on suspicion of related gun and drug charges among others, according to officials.
