Dec. 10 update:
SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Police have arrested a suspect in connection to the deadly shooting in the 800 block of El Camino Avenue on Dec. 7.
After interviewing witnesses, reviewing evidence, and checking surveillance footage in the area, police said they arrested 33-year-old Lorenzo McCoy in connection with the shooting death of 41-year-old Onaje Lynch.
Investigators say the case will remain active, as detectives are still looking to speak to witnesses.
Dec. 9 update:
The identity of the 41-year-old man shot and killed on the 800 block El Camino was released by the Sacramento County coroner.
Onaje Lynch, 41, was identified as the man who was found with a life-threatening gunshot wound. The Sacramento Fire Department declared Lynch dead at the scene.

An investigation is underway after a deadly shooting unfolded in Sacramento.
Sacramento police said officers responded to the call around 3:35 p.m. on the 800 block of El Camino Avenue.
Arriving officers found a man with a life-threatening gunshot wound, and Sacramento Fire Department would eventually declare the victim dead at the scene.
Police don't have a motive or suspect description for the shooting at this time, but the investigation is ongoing.
