MODESTO, Calif. — The suspect in a domestic violence call died after the actions of an intervening family member, Modesto police said.
According to Modesto Police Department, officers responded to the 500 block of Kimble Street just after midnight for a domestic violence call.
Police said they found the domestic violence suspect was hurt after a family member intervened in the situation.
The suspect was taken to a hospital and ultimately died from their injuries.
Police said this was an isolated incident and all involved parties were accounted for. The initial domestic violence victim is also expected to be OK.
