RESCUE, Calif. — A man was arrested Thursday in El Dorado County in connection with sex crimes against minors.
Dylan Harrison Ryan, 23, was arrested by the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office as the result of a child pornography investigation that began in 2023, according to a sheriff's office Facebook post.
Detectives reportedly served a search warrant in the Rescue area during the investigation which led to the discovery of multiple sexual assault victims and Ryan’s arrest, the release said.
Ryan was arrested on Foxmore Lane in Rescue, jail records show.
He was booked into El Dorado County Jail just before noon. He faces one felony count of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14, jail records show. Officials said there is reason to believe there are numerous additional victim who haven't been identified.
Deputies said he was booked on charges, including:
- Sexual penetration upon a child under 14 against the victim’s will
- Oral copulation with a person under 16
- Kidnapping with the intent to rape
- Kidnapping or carrying away to commit rape
- Two counts of a lewd act with a minor by force of fear
Ryan is ineligible for bail, jail records show.
