STOCKTON, Calif. — A man and woman were found dead at a residence in Stockton in an alleged murder-suicide, according to the Stockton Police Department.
Officers responded to reports of a suspicious death at the 4600 block of Winding River Circle from Stockton firefighters on Oct. 4 at 7:01 p.m.
An 83-year-old woman and a 76-year-old man were found dead at the residence lying next to each other, both with gunshot wounds, police said.
Police say a gun was recovered at the scene and the man appeared to have a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The department said this is an ongoing investigation.
