FAIRFIELD, Calif. — Four Fairfield businesses were cited for selling alcohol to a minor in a decoy operation Wednesday, according to officials.
The Fairfield Police Department worked alongside the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) to send in decoy minors to purchase alcohol at 10 licensed businesses in the city. The minors were under the direct supervision of police during the operation.
Of the 10 businesses, Panderia La Mexicana, Circle K, Seven Food & Liquor and 7-Eleven were cited.
Panderia La Mexicana's alcohol license will be suspended as this was the third violation, including having two violations within two weeks.
