RANCHO CORDOVA, Calif. — Two minors were arrested Friday in connection to a fatal Rancho Cordova stabbing, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office.
A boy and girl were arrested without incident, the 14-year-old boy in Grass Valley and the 16-year-old girl in north Sacramento, according to officials.
Officials say a man walked into a hospital around midnight Dec. 18, 2023 with what appeared to be a gunshot wound. He later died at the hospital. The case was originally thought to be a shooting, but officials confirm it was actually a stabbing that happened during a fight.
Witnesses told investigators at the time that the man was at a gathering or party near Viking Drive and Egmont Way.
It's unclear the relation of victim to suspects. No further information is available at this time.
