Folsom police search for 2 men accused of robbing cell phone store, hurting employees

FOLSOM, Calif. — Folsom police are looking for two men who allegedly robbed a cell phone store and assaulted two employees Thursday.

The Folsom Police Department says the incident happened around 5:45 p.m. in the 900 block of East Bidwell Street in Folsom when two men in masks used their fists and a handgun to assault workers, take tens of thousands of dollars in electronics and leave the scene. 

The store employees were treated for their injuries at the scene.

Officials are now asking for the public's help in identifying the men. They say witnesses describe them as light-skinned black males in their teens. One had on blue jeans, black shoes and a black sweatshirt with white writing. The other had on blue track pants with white stripes, a black sweatshirt with a red, white and black design on the back, and black and white shoes.
