STOCKTON, Calif. — A man was arrested after a deadly hit-and-run in Stockton.
The Stockton Police Department says 23-year-old Giovanni Angelo was arrested on suspicion of felony traffic-related charges.
The crash happened Tuesday near March Lane and Venetian Drive around 6:45 p.m.
Few details surrounding the incident and what led up to it have been released, however, police confirmed the collision involved a pedestrian, a 60-year-old man. Police said the man was found unresponsive and died at the scene. He was identified as Vincent Ramirez, according to the San Joaquin County Medical Examiner's Office.
The investigation is ongoing.
