GRASS VALLEY, Calif. — A Jailbird is headed back to the nest after a drug possession arrest in Grass Valley, police said.
On Saturday the Grass Valley Police Department shared news about 23-year-old Rachel Medlin on Facebook.

Medlin, who is on Sacramento County probation, was raised in Grass Valley according to the post. Police made contact with her on Friday night in the parking lot of a closed business after someone called in to report drug dealing between a vehicle Medlin was in and another vehicle.
She was arrested for heroin possession, possessing paraphernalia and outstanding arrest warrants.
"On the way to jail, Medlin was proud to tell officers of her brief cameo on the hit show, identifying the specific episode and the time stamp of her appearance." the department said in the post.
Not long after finding out about her Netflix debut, officers watched the episode to verify Medlin's story.
"It seems to check out," the department went on to say in the Facebook post. "Hopefully she turns her back on that life soon. At 23, she has every capability of finding things to really be proud of."
