Isleton man arrested for allegedly having 'several gigabytes' of child pornography

CHP says James Stanley Skaggs, 60 from Isleton, was booked into the Sacramento County Jail and is being held on a $1 million bail.

ISLETON, Calif. — A Sacramento County man was arrested Monday on suspicion of having and distributing child porn after a two month long California Highway Patrol investigation.

CHP says James Stanley Skaggs, 60 from Isleton, was booked into the Sacramento County Jail and is being held on a $1 million bail.

The investigation began in August when CHP’s Computer Crimes Investigation Unit identified a home in Isleton suspected of downloading and distributing child porn. A search warrant was served Monday at a home on 4th Avenue in Isleton, according to officials.

During the search of the property, officials said they found “several gigabytes” of photos and videos of children ages 3 to 13 years old.
