NORTH HIGHLANDS, Calif. — A suspect in a large fight that turned into a deadly shooting in North Highlands was put behind bars, the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office said.

A spokesperson for the sheriff's office said Jarrell Triplett was arrested in connection to the deadly shooting Thursday morning. There are no other suspects in the case.

The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office said it was reported along the 5600 block of Georgia Drive, near A Street, around 1:15 p.m.
