Sheriff: 1 dead, 2 airlifted, 'multiple' others injured after shooting and stabbing near Lake Berryessa

The Napa County Sheriff's Office says it all happened around 5:30 p.m. at the Oak Shores Day Use Area in the 5500 block of Knoxville Road.

NAPA COUNTY, Calif. — One man was killed and multiple other people were hurt in a stabbing and shooting near Lake Berryessa in Napa County Saturday evening. 

Napa County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Henry Wofford says it happened around 5:30 p.m. at the Oak Shores Day Use Area in the 5500 block of Knoxville Road. Officials say a fight broke out, but they are not sure at this time what sparked it.

A man was shot and killed and two more people were airlifted to hospitals with stab wounds, officials say. Their conditions are currently unknown.

"Multiple" other victims were taken to hospitals by ambulance and driving themselves. The extent of their injuries is unknown. It's unclear how these victims were hurt at this time. Officials do not currently have a total number of victims. 

Officials say no arrests have been made and they are investigating. No other information is currently available.
