3-person fight on Sacramento RT light rail train sends 1 to hospital

One person went to the hospital with a non-life threatening injury, possibly from a gunshot wound, a spokesperson said.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A Sacramento Regional Transit light rail train was temporarily halted due to a fight, officials said.

A bus bridge was put in place on the Blue Line between Florin and Cosumnes River College stations as police addressed the situation.

A spokesperson for the Sacramento Regional Transit said the fight involved three people, two of which were possibly juveniles. 

One person went to the hospital with a non-life threatening injury, possibly from a gunshot wound, the spokesperson said.

The train resumed service around 9:42 p.m.
