LODI, Calif. — Police are looking for answers after a man was shot multiple times in Lodi Monday night.
A spokesperson for the Lodi Police Department said officers responded to the shooting near an apartment building on South Main Street, not far from the Pine Street intersection, around 10 p.m. Monday.
A 36-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to a hospital.
The man is expected to survive but is in critical condition and police say this was a targeted attack.
No additional details surrounding the shooting or what led up to it are available at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
