Man dies in Stockton shooting | Update

The shooting was reported Monday night. Officers found two victims, a 30-year-old man and an 18-year-old man, who were both shot.

STOCKTON, Calif. — One of the victims of an overnight shooting has died from his injuries. A homicide investigation is underway.

According to the Stockton Police Department, the shooting was reported in the area of North California Street and East Park Street around 6:45 p.m. Monday.

Two people were taken to the hospital after a shooting in Stockton Monday evening.

Officers arrived and found two victims, a 30-year-old man and an 18-year-old man, who were both shot.

The 30-year-old had major injuries and was later pronounced dead. The 18-year-old is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

Officials are asking anyone with more information involving this shooting is asked to contact Stockton Police.
