SACRAMENTO COUNTY, Calif. — A man was shot in the chest in Sacramento County Wednesday night, according to officials.
The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office says the man was shot in the chest at a hotel on 4300 block of Watt Avenue around 9:40 p.m. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
Sgt. Amar Gandhi says the shooting may be gang related, but officials are still investigating.
It's unclear how many times the man was shot, but officials say the shooting "didn't appear random."
