MEXICO, — A man wanted for a 2019 homicide in Tracy is in custody after being arrested in Mexico.
According to Tracy Police, Antonio Flores-Cuellar was arrested Thursday in Mexico. He was wanted for the 2019 shooting death of Andrea Cervantes in Tracy.
Flores-Cuellar is now awaiting extradition back to the United States.
CASE HISTORY
Andrea Cervantes, 18, was found dead in an apartment on Carlton Way back in June 2019.
Investigators say the victim and Flores-Cuellar knew each other but didn’t say exactly how.
In 2019 neighbors told ABC10 the 18-year-old victim recently moved into the apartment and wasn’t from the area.
