NORTH HIGHLANDS, Calif. — A minor was taken to the hospital after a shooting in North Highlands Tuesday night.
Few details surrounding the shooting have been released at this time.
A spokesperson for the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office confirmed the shooting was reported at Keema Avenue and Walerga Road in North Highlands. The sheriff's office said the minor was shot in the leg and it's a non-life-threatening wound.
The shooting is under investigation.
