SACRAMENTO, Calif — A boy is in the hospital after a shooting in Sacramento Monday night.
According to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office, the shooting was reported around 9:30 p.m. at an apartment complex along the 600 block of Howe Avenue.
Deputies said a boy was shot and tried to drive himself to the hospital before eventually being pulled over and taken to the hospital by an ambulance. He's expected to survive.
The suspect, described as a boy as well, is still outstanding.
