Modesto man recovering from being ejected from car in crash over the weekend, police say

Ceres Police Department said the crash happened Sunday night near the intersection of Hatch and Moffett Roads. The cause of the crash is under investigation.

CERES, Calif. — A Modesto man is in stable condition after being ejected from his vehicle following a crash Sunday night.

Ceres Police Department said the crash happened Sunday around 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of Hatch and Moffett roads. 

Once on the scene, first responders found the 56-year-old man unresponsive. He was taken to the hospital where they say he is in stable condition. The driver of the other vehicle involved was also taken to the hospital, but their injuries were minor police said.

It's not clear what led up to the crash at this time, but police did say alcohol appears to be a factor.
