SANTA ANA, Calif. — A male nanny who was charged last May with sexually abusing four Southern California boys is now facing additional counts that prosecutors say bring the number of alleged victims to 17.
In announcing the additional charges Friday, prosecutors say Matthew Antonio Zakrzewski's victim's ranged from 2 to 12 years old. All were boys.
The 30-year-old nanny's attorney, Matthew B. Wallin, tells The Orange County Register he cannot comment until his firm evaluates all the allegations.
Zakrzewski faces 33 felony counts.
He had billed himself on his website as a "manny," who not only watched over children but provided a fun "buddy" experience.
He was arrested after a couple told police he touched their son inappropriately.
At the time of his arrest authorities asked others who hired Zakrzewski to contact them.
